The Escape Artists is a 3 piece blues/grunge band from Rochester NY. The band was founded when members of the band Ten Days of Rain wanted to take a break their progressive sound for a more raw, heavy, and soulful sound. Members include of Adam McGrath on guitar and vocals, Dan Smith on bass (both from Ten Days of Rain), and longtime friend Charles Petruzelli on drums. Their influences consist of The White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, and The Dead Weather.
